Global manufacture & distribution of the AutoFireX® UL-Recognised FK-5-1-12 Fire Suppression Clean Agent in the UK & worldwide.
Fire Suppression Clean Agent
AutoFireX® FK-5-1-12 UL-Recognised Fire Suppression Clean Agent
Engineered specifically to protect high-value assets and special hazard environments, AutoFireX® FK-5-1-12 is one of the most sustainable, environmentally responsible Fire Suppression Clean Agents available today.
Recognised by UL as a Component under EX28099 for Fire Extinguishers and Extinguishing System Units (GARZ2), it delivers exceptional extinguishing performance while meeting the highest global standards for safety and environmental stewardship.

Fluoroketone Fire Suppression for Environmental Excellence
A next-generation replacement for Halon and other legacy agents, the AutoFireX® FK-5-1-12 Clean Agent combines a wide safety margin, rapid fire knockdown capability, and near-zero environmental impact, making it the ideal choice for Total Flooding Systems, DLP (Direct Low Pressure) & ILP (Indirect Low Pressure) Fire Suppression Systems, and portable Fire Extinguishers.
Chemically, AutoFireX® FK-5-1-12 is a fluorinated ketone, systematically known as 1,1,1,2,2,4,5,5,5 nonafluoro-4-(trifluoromethyl)-3-pentanone. Delivering environmental excellence, it boasts zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP), an ultra-low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of less than 1, and a very short atmospheric lifetime of approximately 5 days, minimising long-term environmental persistence.
In terms of safety and human compatibility, it is low toxicity, with no adverse effects under controlled discharge conditions, and offers a high NOAEL (No Observable Adverse Effect Level). Compared to conventional clean agents, it delivers wide safety margins of 675-150%.

Fire Suppression Clean Agent for Total Flooding & Local Applications
Compatible with Total Flooding and Local Applications, our Fire Suppression Clean Agent delivers superior fire performance with low design concentrations of 4–6.5%, a rapid liquid-to-gas transition for fast vapour distribution, and 50 times faster evaporation than water due to its low heat of vaporisation and higher vapour pressure. With a clean discharge, it leaves no residue or damage and requires minimal post-fire cleanup. Through heat absorption and interruption of chemical chain reactions, it is effective across a wide range of fire classes.
Liquid at room temperature, it is easy to store, transport, and handle in unpressurised containers. Its high dielectric strength makes it safe for use around energised electrical equipment. It is ideal for protecting Data Centres, Telecommunication Facilities, Control Rooms, Cleanrooms, Semiconductor Manufacturing, Healthcare Equipment, Museums, Archives, Power Generation, Electrical Switchgear, Marine Engine Rooms, Enclosed Machinery Spaces, Industrial Equipment, and Special Hazard Enclosures.
